Surgical Excision

Surgical Excision is the removal of tissue using a sharp knife (scalpel) or other cutting instrument.

This procedure works by removing the growth along with some of the healthy skin around it, known as a margin, to prevent recurrence.

It can be used to remove a number of different growths from the skin, including moles, skin tags, warts and lesions.
